We tried the Bahura Resort in Dauin daytime (9am-6pm) swim and lunch. For 500p per person, you can swim and shower at Bahura's pool (perhaps the largest in Negros Oriental) and enjoy a fairly decent lunch of soup, choice of 5 entrees, desert, and water. 7 days a week. This beats staying at their resort, about 4500p avg per room. You can also swim in the sea but it is sort of rocky but has a nice view of Apo Island. The baby absolutely loved us towing him around in the pool and started kicking his legs, fun to see. Note: Sunday we were the only ones using the pool, terrific. That may explain why they have this offering.
If no one is there on a Sunday, then it is obvious their rates are too high Try Sea Forest Resort (.com) instead. 3 pools, big slide, ocean access, good overnight rates- but alcohol not allowed. Easy access by bus. Entrance is maybe p150 each You can walk to resort next door for a beer if you need one, then come back
