    DAILY STARS.

    DEATH OF AN AMERICAN.

Police Station 1 commander Chief Insp. Luisito Acebuche yesterday said they will investigate the real cause of the death of an American national who died
Monday. Acebuche, who withheld the name of the American, said they will verify the cause of his death as they have received reports that he died due to the intake of a sex enhancement medicine. He said the American, 69, and his Filipina wife checked in at the O Hotel in Bacolod on December 8 as they were preparing for their wedding on December 28.
Acebuche added the American was complaining of chest pains and asked to be brought to a hospital at about 6 p.m. Monday but he died an hour after.
The body of the American national is now lying in state at a funeral parlor in Bacolod.

    Rest In Peace!

    Ron

Ok, I'll be the first one to post here.
First off, may he rest in peace.
Second, my deepest sympathy goes out to his bride to be and all of his family and friends.

But, this is something that maybe we should discuss here.
I also am 69. I also take Levitra 20mg about every 3 days. And I'm reasonably sure that a lot of you do also.
I know that there will never be a way of knowing, but it would be comforting to me to know the brand and dosage involved.
    Anybody want to discuss this?

    Condolences to A family.

Hi Ron. In fact we did discuss this issue some time ago, Only a few months. I guess it is always good to remind ourselves though about it's Dangers, the one thing that came out of the thread, was the startling fact that some of our members here were taking stuff bought on the Street. I don't use any medication at this time, (Hopefully never) if I needed to, then I am sure I would seek medical advice. All too many times medication is taken without the full knowledge of Side effects. For me Ron, Press on and discuss, I will always throw my 5c worth in.
Bye the way, Nice post earlier about Happiness, Pat said it all in his reply, I am one of the lucky ones too, so I sit here with a BIG SMILE:D Is it luck? or have we maybe worked hard, to achieve the things we have. What Ever it is, I, like You, Pat and a lot of others here on DI am very happy.

Our Condolences and Sympathy Goes to this mans Fiance, Family and Friends.:(:o

I guess I just haven't looked or tried, but I didn't know it was available on the street. I always deal with Mercury or Rose.
To me, anything that you put in your body, should not be bought on the street.

You know, there is a rash of Viagra salesmen going door to door here in Cebu.
Been going on for several years now.
Some say the drug is good and some say it has no effect.
I wouldn't know personally as I don't need it and would not buy anything of the streets to begin with, especially medicines or meat.

    How Odd!

 When we were in manila last week, The Hotel Azon and I stayed at was in an area I was not too familiar with, enlightened to be sure now. It would seem to be a street full of naughty girls and their controllers, The Girls were in and out of a 7/11 shop like Yo Yos. As each girl was introduced to Clients (Mainly Whites) they were met by a chap selling the tablets. I was very surprised at the number of men actually buying a pack. There were 6/7 Hotels in the particular part of the street and all seem to have the same service offered. I, as others have mentioned, have no need of either product but it does make you wonder. Maybe the other post of a sudden death of a 69 year old will be commonplace in Manila. just plain STUPID to buy this stuff on the street.

(for those interested it was, Mabini Street, Malate.)

    does that include apples, bannanas?
as far as i anyone knows this guy could have died while taking prescription pills from a pharmacy.
when you think about the thousands of tablets sold on the streets to the number of deaths you hear about, they are obviously pretty safe.
one of the advantages of living here is the cheap generic goods.
after all if the street viagra didnt work there would be no repeat sales and the sellers would be out of business

US embassy discussed stats on older american men trying to live young keeping up with young asian women and reported it is common that older americans die here trying to live again like they were young...I dont see that being a problem..If I go doin the 69 at 69;somewhere I gotta feel I was livin and so no hard feeling for getting what I did outta life,,,I hate the pharmaceutical evil that permeates the world and feel for any one who is robbed of their quest for youth by that..Our american friend now is our ancestor watching after us all...

    I asked my

Doctor about the "hard on pills" three or four years ago and was told, ever so clearly, "You want to DIE? take one of those pills." He also added that with my current heart condition and Diabetes. That if I were to take one of those pills, I would be very lucky to have enough time to call 911.
Yes, I know Mr. ED and he's not a talking horse.
I was going to post this several months ago when this subject last came up. Like us all I do not like to admit that after 64 years I have just about used up all the lead in my pencil.

Not the age, it's the diabetes and heart condition/medicine.
Sorry to hear you had to be hit so hard at such a young age.
