Food & Grocery decent whole bean coffee

how much a pound? i looked at packaged beans there several years ago and the sales person said it wasn't the same coffee they sold for sit down customers. he also knew nothing about the roast, etc.

according to what i've been reading, freshness is the key. the artistan brand coffee i was moaning about in message 8 was near the expiration date.

what about Boo's? do they sell beans?
