    Dr. Ong is an Internal Medicine specialist. ☺️

    An oncologist takes over when there is a cancer diagnosis and you require cancer treatment. In the case of my mother, she had gastro issues and so we went to a specialist who dealt in gastro issues. Upon testing and confirming pancreatic cancer, she was referred to an oncologist for treatment.

    Ophthalmologist: Dr. Yap at ACES Eye Clinic is very good. She takes her time and explains everything well. Most of the docs there commute from Cebu City, but Dr. Yap lives in Dumaguete. Very modern facility complete with sterile operating suite and all the high-tech testing machinery. Who would have thought something like that right next to HyperMart? 035 422 2237

    for Internal Medicine at Silliman: Dr. Dr. Junabeth Credo treated me successfully and non-intrusively for gallstones and I have gone to her since for yearly examination. She seems to "know everything" and to keep up with specialties better than some specialists, and she sometimes teaches in the med school.

    Dr. Leo Bollos, SUMC, a good pedia to my children and who takes time to explain to his patients about the nature of their conditions.

    Dra. Cabaces, Holy Child,general practice (one of the best doctors in town)
