It it true that there is no correlation between paying for treatment and getting high standards - I knew someone who paid 6000 euros for a tooth implant at a prestigious French hospital and they made a mess. She had to return to have the molar root removed as it had broken off during extraction and they had not noticed!

Also, I am aware of another dentist who did work which was not required - he was eventually caught and 'sanctioned' but allowed to continue practicing, but without full credentials. He obtained those credentials back by moving to another country! I used him once and he would not have an assistant with him but had a list of stock prices running on his computer, which he frequently consulted during treatment.

Anyone using Premier Dental in Dumaguete will have NO such issues with the very professional dentist there.

 

well we left dr myrine garupa mostly due to pricing but i agree her demeanor is not very friendly. we have three visit experience now with the ONG clinic staffed by five Dr. Ongs and have been pleased with the experience both from the standpoint of pricing but also the quality of the work and reasonably sociable environment . the ONG clinic is on a side street on the mountain side just off the national highway just north of the river bridge near Robinson mall

 

I use Dr. Ong to and is very satisfied with him, he may seem a little harsh to delicate souls, but the quality of his work is good and can't complain about the pricing. One time I was there he was out of town and I use one of the females, maybe his daughter, very careful and friendly, worth to consider if you are one of the delicate souls or bring a kid
