I've been checking online for an appointment slot for my sister in law for many months now, and there are NEVER any slots available. Here: https://www.passport.gov.ph/appointment/individual/schedule Yes, my wife also found a Filipina on FB who is selling appointment slots. Looks like something underhanded going on under the table between the DFA personnel and a 3rd party. What?? In the Philippines?? Does anyone know anything more - either about how to get an appointment, or if there is corruption? Thanks.
Word is that blocks of appointments have been sold to various agents. They very rarely come back on the market, usually in the middle of the night. You may have to go through one of the agents to get a slot, which is what my sister in law did.
