Pleasure to see all of you guys, as always! Thanks to DI and Larry personally for gathering people. Hope to see you next time soon! Denis&Mary
Im sorry we missed it , we had friends turn up early than expected from Cebu we will be there next time I hope cheers
We would like to thank all that attended, and also thank our sponsor La Fiesta for a great time. We had around 40 people by the end of the day, the official mouseometer got stuck and stopped running at 33, but there were still more who came in after the mouse stopped counting. This was great to show our sponsor we can bring in customers. I hope that some of you will continue to patronize La Fiesta, they have some great food. Of course this was not the best of chances to sample it as they were pretty overwhelmed, and everything is cooked fresh. But even as overwhelmed as they were and having a waitress quit they still did a good job overall. I didn't get to meet all of you, but thanks for coming anyway. We plan on putting together events occasionally, using different venues and activities. Some out of town trips and potluck picnics will likely be in the mix on a semi regular basis. Again, thanks to all! Larry and Rony
An excellent get-together and thanks to all who made it happen. How nice to be in a location that had background music so that everyone could chat without shouting, made all the better, for me, by having English beer available, even if it was brewed in Scotland by some Netherlanders !!!!!!! It's nice to be able to put names to faces, and it was a great opportunity to make new acquaintances and renew old ones. Let's do it again soon. Ad Endum. For anyone who didn't previously know PatO, I hope you made yourself known to him. From those of us who already know him, it's good to see you out and about and mobile. You're a gutsy bugger, keep going up that improvement slope.
Enjoyed every minute, those that I did not get to meet, I was the one with white t-shirt and a very red face Great turn out, special thanks to Larry and mighty mouse
Last to comment but not intentionally, me too enjoyed the come together, I will be there next time if possible...
ok ok.. I *MISSED* it.. today is the first I knew and Im sooo sorry to have been sitting here all by me own self..lol.. SOOO whats up for March already?? huh huh.. huh??? and I missed import beer..no one said imported beer here ...to me..EVER NEVER...lol.. Ok start kickin dem idea-r's around pare..diba? Ed
On the mention of imported beer, I was in Times the other day to get HP brown sauce, and espied upon the shelf 4 very lonely bottles of Newcastle Brown Ale. Shelf now empty. :dnr:
Sometimes I would see a bottle of this or that.. Japanese or a bottle of Chamay but not too much here. More so in SM Mall in Bacolod but Times would be the place here I am sure of it. Their prices .while not great are better than any of the other locations that just buy from them and resell it. They have a discount price in the checkout counter if you buy 10 or more bottles..but its not worth the savings unless you are a reseller. The discount is not great but beats nothing. I got some sherry there the other day and did the 10 assorted. along with 3 bottles of Jagermeister some Scotch and blend whiskey among other items off their shelves. What was the cost of that ale ?
