    Mr. Peterson,

I can hardly express how sorry we are to hear about this terrible accident!
Wish you to recover as soon as possible and glad to hear you're doing good though.
Please keep us updated about the investigation, there's no way they can do nothing! Searching for a bullet, examining the lot, talking to neighbours...by the way, which barangay was that?
What kind of person could have done that?! Have no idea...My God, since when has Duma become a battle field?!

Hope you're feeling better now and it's good to see you're not loosing your brilliant sence of humor.

    Mary

Been off line a few days!

Due to Smart Bro's inefficiency, I have been off line for a few days and have not caught up yet.

Can I just say a big Thank You, to all, that have have shown Sympathy and Concern over this, Accident?? mmmm oh well, Whatever:confused: I guess I will never know, for sure.
I visited the Captain Yesterday, He had nothing to report (nothing new there then)

Whist the swelling has subsided, the bone is well bruised and still very painful.

I have to have humour in my life all it would seem, not have been worth living:D

I will be 66 in 2 weeks and will continue, to enjoy what time I have left here. As my Granny used to say
"Don't let the buggers wear you down" So, I will rise above this and wait for the Bragging to begin.

Yesterday was Fiesta day and with much Redhorse and Tandui being drunk, I am sure, will yeald, I hope, some interesting, conversations that I know, will not be kept quiet:rolleyes: Time will tell

Hi Folks, Thank You for the Post, Things are well on the mend and I can expect a full recovery:cool:

JUNOB is a fairly deprived area and has seen some Shootings in the past and quite a few Drug busts but Northern Junob where I live,is quite different, it is some 1.5 km towards the City, on a Quieter main road, just past the Cemetery,

We have been here some time, I always felt to a degree, That the Locals had accepted me, However, we all know, that not all locals, like, trust or even accept Foreigners.
As I said before, it has been FIESTA week, but this should not, be an excuse, to have a go at me, many Strangers, family of local Residents visiting, have swelled the numbers greatly. If, this was a deliberate act Then I am astounded, We as a Foreigner/Filipino Family, have always done our bit, helped, contributed to the Purok and the Barangay in general. we hold no Grudges. If it was a pure accident, I just hope that lessons can be learned, from the sad event (Although I will not hold my breath)

Life will go on and as I said in other Posts. the Truth will out. In the meantime, all I can do and will do, is continue to walk the Dogs, wearing my big smile and let all know I am here, Got a problem, come and talk to me, not shoot me

:eek:Shoot me, I will maybe, die, then I can't answer your problem for you.

I have to admit though, My Purok President, has been great, he has banned, all loaded pellet guns, from the Purok and is holding meetings, to inform the users on safety, in the immediate area,
Too Little, too late but at least someone in authority, has some gumption, Lets hope it will continue.
