Many times we have expectation of what a certain food dish should look and taste like here based on our country of origin. However a foreigner may come from any of a number of nations, and consequently will have a totally different expectation of what a food "should" look and taste like. While one foreigner loves a dish, the other foreigner from a different country may hate it. You will have to try a lot of restaurants to find what you like, and as someone said here, each restaurant may only have one outstanding dish.

I would suggest that you get current on your hepatitis A shots before arriving here, it is an easy precautionary step to good health. I knew a friend whose 3 month vacation was interrupted with a week in the hospital and a week before going to the hospital with hepatitis A because he did not get shots before coming here.

Enjoy you visit, I am sure it will be exciting and adventurous, just keep in mind that you are visiting a third world county with a different culture.
