    Your wife can process the renewal for you, just needs a medical certificate saying you are unfit to travel.

    Try RCBC Savings Bank across the street from Hotel Essencia. They opened an account for me while I was on the first 30 days of a tourist visa. However, I did show a Philippines drivers license at the time.

    Thanks for the added info Gents. I intended an ACR Card just to open an account. Bank will not open an account (the only bank I have tried as of yet) and so I have decided to just keep my funds abroad and pull as needed. I do have many many ways of accessing my abroad accounts. Other than that, I will be seeking 13A and the Wife and I will get on that ASAP. Cheers

    It's very hard indeed,

    you will need to go to the immigration office in Dumaguete,
    ask for an ACR card form,
    fill it up,
    pay the fee and wait for 3 weeks to get it.

    You can even ask the lady at the desk to help you in case but my advise is to do it soon because 40 days may be short...
