    I think its a great idea..

    With all the long noses moving to Dumaguete. Marrying very young Filipinas sooner or later I am sure there young wife will want to warehouse there old husband so they can go play..:D

    Listen from news aged care centers are opening here now, very different kind of home care houses where you can live your life peacefully and have everything here what you need.

    I don't agree with Congressional (US) Republicans who wish to turn Medicare into a voucher program. It would simply cause our elderly to be even poorer and end up destitute.

    BUT, I would love to see a Medicare voucher program as an option, as long as the voucher could be used anywhere. The Philippines, as well as other countries where US Ex-pats retire, would see a large influx of voucher money into their economies, including mine (when I finally get to retire in Dumaguete.)

    Unfortunately, the voucher option is not even being discussed.
