I did mention to the mayor's bodyguard or whatever he is (the one that drives the yellow VW Beetle) once that the mayor ought to use low risk prisoners to clean the Southern end of the beach along the Blvd.

Within a week I noticed the beach was clean..and it seemed to stay that way until we left in 2004.

 

You want to communicate with him? Go to Mamia's -- he's always there. I doubt he has an email add. It's hard even to contact him by phone.

 

He's at Mamia's because one of his relatives reportedly owns it. His son I think.

He used to be seen on the south end of the Blvd in the mornings gabbing with the locals..

 

His son owns it. Yup i always see him there, he chats with my uncles at times. Well he does live near the blvd so that's why he's always spotted around the area.

 

If the mayor wanted to keep his finger on the pulse of Dgte, he'd have a public email addy...but somehow I don't see him that interested in conversing with the general public.

I used to see a SUV like the mayor's up parked up one street from the blvd (Sta Catalina St?) is that where he lives?
