The local Bureau of Customs overshot its target collection last year because of the palm oil importation by the Dumaguete Coconut Oil Mills, OIC port collector Fe Lluelyn Toring of the sub-port of Dumaguete, said. In 2014, BoC collected P171,678,619 out of the target collection of P25 million, compared to only P19,947,984 in 2013.
