Thought it worth mentioning for anyone unfamiliar with Cebu B.I. that unlike Manila, there is not the requirement to wear long trousers/closed shoes. I appreciate that most will know this, but I didn't. So, no need panic over formal attire. Just a pointer in case someone was embarrassed to ask. Easy peasy.
You should be careful with this as the rule changes frequently. I would suggest jeans and some shoes just in case.
Last time I was there at the end of January, a Korean couple left the girl behind the desk a couple pieces of candy; next a white guy stuffed a little money into her hand. The Koreans had to go in the back and talk to the in-charge, so maybe money works better?
