A suspected drug personality was gunned down at around 2:18 a.m. yesterday by two persons riding in tandem on a motorcycle at the Dr. Meciano Road, Locsin Street in Dumaguete City. Roberto Libby Artus, alias “Bobby”, 50, of Crossing Taclobo, Dumaguete, was pronounced dead by attending physicians at the Holy Child Hospital, at 3 a.m. He sustained four gunshot wounds, two in the back, that caused his instantaneous death. Initial police investigations show that the victim was with a certain Ramcy Adante, 21, of Bagong Dalan and they had a drinking spree at Yagumyuman, and after consuming two bottles of beer each, the victim left and proceeded to his motorcycle parked outside the establishment.
