No but I have certainly been accused of exactly what's written (and much worse on forums that have absolutely no moderation, such as "Topix".). Some people confuse free speech with diarrhea of the mouth...and even more people confuse online forum owners with their legislative branch.

    US First Amendment:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

The government can't force you to STFU in most cases...website/forum and business owners most certainly can say what type of speech is allowed on their private property. However, I don't think the guy is referring to this forum - but I believe I know which one(s) he is - as there are no "fees" on this forum for anything but posting in the classifieds section.

Whoever wrote that is obviously a former forum member who is butt-hurt that his sh*t-posting was moderated and his user account banned. I know the type. These retards are an unavoidable part of running a forum.

WordPress isn't doing anything to the blog. The Philippines only openly admits to blocking certain porn websites. However, I have noticed there are certain non-porno websites/forums that are impossible to access in the Philippines unless I turn on my VPN. (FYI: VPNs are technically illegal in the Philippine....though they have absolutely no way of enforcing that law.)

It might be worth noting that the trouble accessing the website could be due to other things:
    • An individual ISP might ban a site without the government telling them to.
    • The server the blog is hosted on might be blocking your IP address due to spammers on the same IP as you.
    • The blog's host might region block the entire country because of spammers. (It is difficult for most people in India and Pakistan to visit DI.)
    • He is not paying for hosting. He has free WP hosting. He is only allowed so much bandwidth per day/month. If he goes over that it is shut down or throttled to a useless speed.
    • The blog is complete sh*t when it comes to its design. If your internet is slow your browser might not be loading it properly.

Cookies have nothing to do with your ability to view that site. The cookies being used on that site are from Google for tracking and advertising placement.

I haven't actually read anything on the blog. Just looking at the blog makes my eyes bleed.

Edit: I just read some of his drivel:
Another miserable lady part that isn't happy unless he has something to be miserable about. That's quote is as far as I got. No interest in anything else he has to say.

Turns out that wordpress requires javascript to load opening pages. My program has an addon that filters possibly malicious javascripts which was blocking the load. Most webages will give a message saying javascript required, but this page does not. This occurred on two different browsers, so it's a javascript must be enabled to load type of thing. Interestingly internet explorer was the only browser that loaded the page without problems.

It's a known fact that certain ISPs here censor websites. I have had this happen on several sites, but it's not frequent. If you google it you will find the names of ISPs that are doing this here, they use DNS filters in the main. The government here, I believe, through ISPs is becoming increasingly intrusive into data transfers of internet users here.

I've talked to several foreigners here who hold similar views to this blogger, although he, as I said before is exaggerating. BTW, the anonymous setting for posting does not really make you anonymous as anyone with sys privileges knows what account was used to post any post. I only post anonymously because I don't want to bother fielding flames.
