    Then I recommend Spain, it is a little bit more expensive than the places you quoted. However, not by much and you have a full "western" lifestyle with relaxed atmosphere. If you choose the Canary Island you will get the best climate in the world on top (and it is cheap)....English is well understood and Spanish is easy (Hungarian is a nightmare language, very difficult)

    I was one of them just this year moved from Global City with my fiance! But we decided on Valencia where we believe the air is cleaner.

    Add to that the unenforced no smoking laws in most expat restobars eg Octagon, Flip Flops, Katz amongst others. Despite there being signs saying Dumaguete is a Smoke Free city. Gie Gies Sports Bar is smoke free and enforced full marks to them.

    I don't know how much impact this award will have since it was given by the PRA. Might not get much traction in media outside of the Philippines.
