Jack have you visited back of my house, Sawali puruk, sacsac Bacong. It's like a spaghetti over spill. Some one will get electrocuted. there are frequent
"line downs or a transformer malfunction" My neighbors keep complain, but as normal Noreco don't give a sh*t to the "worse off" Filipinos here.

That is just not true, our purok is just the same, a lot of the problem is the Barangay Captains that will not permit the new poles to go up, this has to come off their budgets as it is down the the City Council to Allocate the money for many things, Jim things here as you know get so Political that it is just easier to Blame Noreco when in fact a lot of the problem lays elsewhere. Here is not the Place to discuss this as many things come to my ears and I would be wrong to say much more than I do, I will stand by my last comment, 1 hours is Good for the repair.

It's down right dangerous, some one will lose their lives. Jack it's far worse than you think. Soon as it rains there is a brownout. you are right this is not the place to discuss, I wont go out the back of my house, too dangerous, rather go all the way round.

    End of discussion.

Just as a note here fellow members and remembering this is really a thread about Dumaguete City and not Noreco II Jim has a very vaild point but if people are genuinely concerned about their own safety as he has shown us. There is a Department open to the Coop members that deals with the safety issues, it holds Surgery's (Meetings) to discuss these issues or members can contact the GM's office for a meeting 1 to 1 on Issues of any Personal Nature. Very rarely do people use this open door attitude that works if handled right. The Customer services Department will help those that need help but as with many things, many also leave things far to late, then expect 100% immediately. Also Locals never seem to want to use the Captain for issues that are unresolved. It's what they are there for (safety of the Baringay is in their Remit and Includes Electric Services) If they fail to talk or give the shoulder shrug, that is another string in your (Their) bow) as long as you make a note of the negatives.
