:o o: Reading the organic Meat Thread Yesterday, reminded me of Something I meant to say earlier.
We eat out quite a bit only when Shopping and usually it is a Quick style Jollibee or Chow King. Like it is not 00's but over the Last year or so, we have noticed that there is an increasing number of people using sign language.
I guess either Both parties or maybe just one of them is mute or just totally deaf but I am thinking both mute by the sounds I hear. Is there an Institute for the mute in Dumaguete? or am I seeing general little get togethers of people of Similar Infliction's.
I have to say well done to both places I see them most, as they tend to be well catered for, I know how sometimes I can be rattled by the service and repeated things just on Ordering but I can't help but wonder if they have a built in defense to certain things.

Has anyone else Noticed this?

Last year in Robinsons in the atrium I saw a kiosk for Filipino Sign Language classes. It had a pretty decent size crowd of Filipinos speaking sign language around it. I used to know a cute young lady that worked in the market that spoke it as well.

Apparently Filipino Sign Language is believed to be part of the French Sign Language family but has been influenced heavily by American Sign Language since the Spanish-American War.
