Larry, did Rony acrtually hear the same radio message. Turns out it was my mother-in-law who (may not be so astute) heard it and when we got home she told Crislyn there will be an 8.5 earthquake. NFW, if that's the case I will try and convert my gazebo to another Noah's Ark and sail up to your place.
You have to have know somebody working on the HAARP project to get the precise times. They tend to be hush-hush..
The same local radio station just retracted their bullshitski prediction of an earthquake tonight. My wife just took off her wet suit, mask, and fins. lol
I'm with ChMacQueen on this -- predictions of anywhere near that specificity are scientifically impossible. This was nothing but a BS rumor by people doing frightening bola-bola for fun, just like yesterday afternoon's 4pm declaration that a tsunami was on the way -- that in fact it was already pouring over the Rizal Boulevard...
Not saying it can't happen or being sarcastic. In the late 60's California was predicted to slide off into the ocean, in 2000 the world was predicted to end and also predicted to end at the end of 2012. In the earlier day's there was no such thing as cell phones and know one even imagined a text, and somehow these wild predictions prevailed. My heart goes out to the victims and in my little opinion, the last thing people need to worry about is some wild baseless prediction. Hope I didn't offend anyone. Ron
I'm wondering if my GF and I are crazy right now. I keep "feeling" every few minutes what feels like a tiny quake or shake. On another note I was in LeeP Plaza an hour ago sitting at the food court and know I felt Leep Plaza shaking a little but thinking that is just a crappy building. So for now at least I shall continue to refer to it as LeeP Plaza as thats what I would be doing if need be!
Ya LeeP Plaza's upstairs vibrates all the time. Also Abs Cbn just announced the quake was upgraded to an 8 in Dumaguete. Who know's? As a former California boy I wouldn't be surprised. Ron
