Alex...I will definitely check that place out next time I'm around Dumaguete. Am always up for a meet up.
Thanks again for the info.

Alex,
76 pesos is pretty good, I was planning on only getting layers but you have me rethinking that to include some meat chickens. I had to Google offal (I've always heard them called them innards), I did learn a new word today. I could not find what microbase is though. Did you supplement their feed with fruits and vegetables or just chicken feed?
Thanks for the informative post!

We killed the 10 meat chickens today they were 30 days old and weighed 1.4 klo live and 1kg dressed the cost was 76 peso a kilo dressed we dont use the offal but had no trouble find family that wanted it(the cost did not encluding the small light i had going 24/7 for the fitst 14 days). so in 4 weeks time i will get 10 more. by usying microbase in there water their is no smell and the food conversion is very good. The leghorn layers are giving us an egg a day they are housed up off the ground in a large wire cage the cost per egg is 3.5 peso per. To get white leghorn chicks you have to order 100 so if any one wants to share in a batch let me know and ill start a list. cheers
