Using that logic, I guess we should all be in jail.

 

So long as there are customers there will be drugs (and prostitutes and booze). These "sins" are up to the individual to stop. The government cannot just legalize these and look the other way for reasons that should be obvious, but they cannot solve the problem, just keep it reined in.

For those who do not see it as I do, I should elaborate:
Booze: If there are no government controls there are more drunk drivers on the road
Prostitution: If there are no government controls then girls get abused and STDs proliferate
Drugs: If there are no government controls then thefts for drug money increase and you get more drugged up drivers and other idiots getting in your face.

Yes, its oversimplified for brevity but the bottom line is governments should regulate the use of drugs (middle ground) rather than making them legal or illegal. You can direct a herd of stampeding druggies but you can't stop them or let them run over the rest of the population.
