When we were there, people along the beach were filling buckets from the sea and throwing them on the fire.

Now I know why I have been seeing the bacong fire truck up and down to Valencia this morning as looks like no water in dauin to fill the tanks.

Mike, of Mike's, was hosing his roof down. At this point, it seems to be confined to el Dorado and Vita homes, but the concern for areas, particularly to the south, will probably remain for some time.

For any fire involving nipa is a worry its hard to put out and the cinders fly a long way

I don't think that one looks all that bad. Looks like just the nipa roof was on fire at the time the pictures were taken. Hope they got it out relatively fast.
