Finally had a decent breakfast (pizza begals) today. Usually it is porridge and pastries only. Feel like a peasant eating their most of the time. They took away the comment book at the dining facility exit last week. I never personally wrote in it but I always stopped to have a look for a good laugh. Some people were downright brutal. Have to say most of them were spot on with their review of the meals. Yesterday someone stuck a sticky note where the book was at that said, "Take away the book if you like, your food still sucks!" lol I want some properly cooked bacon and eggs damnit!
Spam was never once served in the house I grew up in. I think it's the older generation that eats that slop.
Spam used to be popular in the UK in the 60's and 70's, you can still buy it but mostly it's been re named bacon grill. It used to be popular in the 24 hr rations in the military also.
