When we get out we only go to a few places anymore and we get excellent service at all of them, maybe because they know us. Casablanca, GiGi's, Pasta King, Mike's Beach Resort.

Your more than welcome to the forum I am sure.... but this is the Philippines. Low wages frankly destroys the moral and enthusiasm from clocking in from the start.
Obviously your posts just may seem nitpicking and the responses back to you have seemed level headed and abrubty sincere from the Philippines expats perspective which is generally not holinding back ... all be say it. Welcome to the forum and tip your waitress well, I am sure better service will arise from that deed alone.

Admins should ban people they don't agree with? And admins aren't allowed to state their opinions or make observations on posts made on a forum? :o o:

You are consistently very critical of staff in restaurants here....I disagree with your opinions and you start crying about it and claiming I'm the one calling Filipinos stupid? The fallacies are strong with you. If you want a place where you can write whatever you please without any chance of someone disagreeing with you then go create a website and disable the comments. This is a forum, not a blog open to guest writers.

And no, I'm not going to ban you because I don't like your opinions. That's stupid to even suggest, play the victim much? If you are looking to get banned you know what to do.

It is very apparent from your comments, both public and private, that you expect me to be some kind of totalitarian ahole administrator who only allows content I agree with. I'm not that person....but if I don't agree with you I'm not going to hold my tongue. If you want to leave because of that then don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Yeah, an innocent little angel. :angelic: :meh:

A forum is a place where people post opinions and experiences, if someone don't like it that's too bad,I feel this is a liberal politically correct forum, all I did was post true experiences and nothing false ,yet I get heat again.

Well for me, I would offer this suggestion, if the heat is too much, Turn the Gas down a little

Well you got some other peoples opinions. What is wrong with that?

If you read all the comments you will find on the other thread there are some that can be very helpful in enjoying and understanding the Philippines.
The Dude explained how he gets along, singing to the waitress etc. That post is pure gold if you want to be happy.
Someone else mentioned this is not a multicultural country, that's a good thing to remember.

If it's such a great idea why don't you open a hospitality school here. You wouldn't be able to feed your dog on what you would earn. I personally wouldn't tell the expat restauranteurs how to run their business, as they have years of experience and know the limits of their staff and demands of their customers. The main consideration here is price and rice. This is not Manila, this is a backwater, which is slowly being dragged into the 21st century. I for one complain sometimes about poor training and service, but then have to remind myself why I live here and how little the staff earn. When I go to a restaurant I always give a decent tip, the staff always remember me and the service and attention I get is commensurate with the tip I give and my thanks for their hard work. Just accept that you will not be able to change anything, filipinos are happy with their lot.

Greetings all. Doing business is not easy as one two three You have to fine the right person for the job as for me I don't care about people attutude I will served them to the best of my ability after serving them you will see change. The next thing we all need to look at is ourself to others I have many people come to true love cafe with attutude but after serving them and get them in a good mood everything change. What better than some Raggae music and a hot boil of soup We have to change our attutude too toward others it don't matter is it a waitress or cleaner Love and respect goes a far way .
