    Actually a 7.7 mag earthquake, I know, I was in Manila at the time, on the top floor of a building in Salcedo village in Makati.

    Aparantly there is a new lava dome forming somewhere at the back of talinis which is growing bigger each yr,close eye is being kept on this area!

    I was there too!
    I was standing in the middle of Del Pilar St. in Ermita, a big white boy with nothing but a towel wrapped around me and shaving cream on half my face.
    The place was rocking so bad nobody gave me a second look.

    May I ask you where you got that bit of Gossip, I have been at the PNOC Power Plant this last Tuesday and have been talking with some guys there that should know but nobody has ever mentioned anything like this, also all the times I have been riding and walking in this Mountains I have never heard anything like this...:eek:

    I think the info came originally from siliman uni but I found a reference to it also on the web somewhere,I will post it here if I can find it!
