Got three yesterday @ P65 each. Last week they were P85-100. The wife said she saw them inside Lee Plaza at P55.

Another policy as well thought out as the back rider shield, and will suffer the same fate after they separate enough money from the people who can least afford it.

Not sure what the benefit will be. It could have some benefits by keeping aerosol particles out of your eyes. If people are wearing masks and social distancing the face shield might be a bit of overkill. Just my opinion. Sigh.

In the meantime, those of us taking a balanced view on the whole thing will continue to evaluate what we should/should not do and what is reasonable -e.g. wearing masks IS beneficial to your contacts IF you are a virus carrier; washing hands and distancing ARE sensible and easy to do safeguards; bending the rules a little and continuing to go out if over 60 IS beneficial to both self and the local economy etc.. All are known facts. There does not have to be one polarised position on this (nor members getting snotty with each other because they disagree, but that's life, I guess).

Not so! Just offering a point of view which I believe will go to help save lives. Not mne. Other people. I'm over 80 and done my bit. Have other issues with health than Corona but people out there are being misled into not wearing asks simply based on some stupid notion that because it wont stop a virus on its own then dont wear one. Stupid stupid stupid. If one gets through, tough but the percentages are in favour of that one not getting through. WEAR A MASK!!!!!

Did you note that my posting stated "in the case of a contagious pathogen I have the right to expect the best decisions to be made for the benefit of the majority."
You replied "you could just avoid etc" as if I am asking for myself - I am asking for "the benefit of the majority". So do you suggest the majority of the population of the World avoids contact with anyone else? I ask because, although confused about some people's position on the response to this crisis, I got the idea you were in the 'camp' not wanting controls on the economy - and if that IS the case then how would you square the World's population avoiding everyone else but maintaining an economy?-

hey if that was offensive i apologize. i should have said something more reflective of the economics of this. i am a pragmatist by nature, i pray as an optimist and plan as a pessimist. i think the most important issue for any country is the health of their economy wherein lies the ability to fight any threat. the stronger the better as far as the economy goes. i have spent most of my life in management so the bottom line is where i start analyzing anything.
i will be pleased and happy for recoveries to be v shaped but remain a skeptic about the phils. each quarter will give all of us a new perspective. i do not apologize for my opinions, but that is all they are. if this is a world of one man, one vote it would seem i am in a minority here and thats ok. pragmatists frequently are so i am used to it.
this whole issue with covid, including the posts here, have been not only entertaining but educational. i will continue this as long as i sleep well and wake up happy!-
