⌛ Fantasy Football!

Hi fellow members, for the past 5 years I have been playing Fantasy Football on the net. Just wondered if any of you out there would be interested in starting a league within DI. Basically, it is a fantasy game based on the English Premiere League soccer game. You buy a team, manage it and each week, earn points based on the actual games played in a games week. I find it good fun, relaxing and when in a league, competitive. If enough members are interested maybe we could ask The Dane/Rhoody for approval to have a thread dedicated to the league. It would only be open to DI members but we can join outside public leagues if we want to. To make it viable and competitive enough, we would need at least 8/10 members to start. If anyone is interested in doing this, just have a look at the site and maybe post your interest here and we can take it to them for approval. It will need some Administration, Setting up, Blogs and reports on game weeks, I would be more than willing to do this. You do not have to understand the game of soccer to any real degree, it is a team that could be from any sort of sport. I enjoy it immensely and I feel it would bring a lot of comradery to the site. The English soccer season is 3/4 way through and the next one starts JULY/AUG so plenty of time to give it some thought.

I am involved in something similar since Sept 2009, and I enjoy it immensely.
When I was a bit younger I was dedicated to Soccer, Tennis and Golf. As I grew older the Golf took over, but nowadays I only play golf online.
