No, I was just curious, since to get to Manila he had to take a long flight, the one hour hop to get to Dumaguete doesn't seem like it would be much of a problem. He might just want to go by boat. I've thought about it too.

When I travelled, they had a buffet style and also a menu you could order from. What you are describing sounds like the the cafeteria on the lower deck. The dining room I was talking about is on the third deck and does have limited seating.

I'm pretty sure that doesn't have anything to do with leaving Manila to come here.

However, they are in the air as I type this, flying business class from Rome. If he would rather have the experience of taking a 24 hour Ferry vs a 1 hour Flight, I don't care and don't see why others would either.

I am giving him the options, which one he chooses is up to him. (He likes cruising and is leaning towards the Ferry. I am not recommending a choice, although I would/have chosen flying every time)

Meals in the Executive dining area leaves much to be desired
You are correct Sir I made the trip last year thank god I only booked one way and yes I had the stateroom, meals included if you can call one chicken drumstick and a cup of rice a meal, served while listening to the drunken locals in the adjoining videoke bar. Executive dining area me thinks not.

As I said, the whole point of taking the Ferry is he is a giant, 7'3" and would rather take a 24 hour Ferry than a 1 hour Airplane ride.
