I have been trying to get Fil Products Cable TV installed for 12 weeks with no success. At first, I didn't have all the required poles for the wiring. Now that I do the one engineer that has to approve my installation was in Manila last week, the office said he would call me when he came back for one day, didn't call, and left for China. No other employee, apparently, can give the go ahead for my installation. The next house down from me, about 80 meters has Fil Products installed. This sucks.:(

Go ahead and spring for Signal satellite. The HD channels make it worth the extra kazookies.

I wrote a couple of posts telling of my problems with Cignal. Worked perfect for 22 hours, box died, no replacements in the provinces, no idea when they might get a replacement, at least a month or more. They took the non-working box away and never replaced, that was in January, they are still trying to bill me from Dec-Mar when I don't have a box installed. If you have Cignal, sure hope your box doesn't go out. So I switched to Dream but limited number of channels and no hd. I do wish Cignal would have worked for me as advertised, the picture was great.

Much will depend on the place where you live, I guess. Have SkyCable since Aug. last year and so far (up till date) no problems @all.

I had Sky Cable TV and Internet for 3 yrs Makati and one year Dgte and very few problems. They only go south as far as the SPI area or I certainly would have kept them.

Maybe you would not have the same issues with Fil Products that I have had. When they first surveyed my area, I did not have any Noreco power poles for them to piggyback on and they wanted me to pay for the poles and extra cable which I wouldn't do. Now that I have Noreco poles, the engineer apparently had to approve the installation being it was red flagged before. But he has not responded. I will probably still go with Fil Products when they finally come around. For me, only other choices are Cignal which flamed out and Dream which works but only a few channels of interest.
