I recognize this tactic. Let me explain how this works.

You knock on the door. If you get something along the lines of "just a minute" then it's all clear, wait your turn. If all you get back is grunting noises, then you know the space will have to fumigate and you might as well find another CR.

hate it when people rudely leave their phones to ring loudly during a cinema, take a call without stepping away, or do something on their smartphone/phablet distracting due to its bright illumination.

had someone annoy me in every way possible at robinson's last time i saw a movie there... he was so clueless i actually chided him with a barrage of taunts. dude was german fellow and i'm betting he must've thought i was one rude flip

??? yeah, someone using phone on the cinema is not funny, i agree. How old was the guy? 20 something? i guess we can not do anything about that. Happens all around the world...When was the last time you were on the cinema in your country? People talk on cinemas, laugh, drop popcorn...that is not the Dumaguetenyos way of acting, from my experience...but sh*t happens...

A knock at toilet door...well, i guess it is the only way to know if it is occupied or the door is blocked...i dont see anything wrong there...

After reading you, i think that you are to sensitive about Philippinos...trying to find a mistake or a bad behavour where there is only normal human life and relationships...

Im sorry, but i totally disagree with you. I find Philippino people extremely educated, respectful and friendly. In western countries (Europe and USA) i use to find rude manners, bad faces and answers MUCH more often.
