    Greetings and Happy New Year to all.

    Been a member since 08, but this is my first intro. I'm retired Navy Vet and currently employed with the U.S. Postal Service in Southern California. Planning to retire to Dumaguete several years from now. Just want to take this opportunity to say, how much I enjoy reading all the helpful comments in the forum.

    Welcome to the forum. Just wondering, your Forum name could be interpreted by some as racial, is that your intent? There is quite an integrated and mixed community on this forum and in this town. Peace.

    No, it's not meant to be racial at all. When I was thinking about a Forum name, I was just being sarcastic....onto myself. But it sure got your attention, didn't it? And thanks for the welcome.

    Thank you for the welcome. I'm originally from the L.A. area, but after my 20 years of Naval Service, I retired to the San Diego area to utilize my military benefits.

    Welcome NJ! I believe your going to sorely miss those military benefits (except for pay) when you move to Dumaguete. Enjoy them while you can.

    Thanks for the welcome. Yah I'll probably have a little "teething problem" without my bennies for a couple of months, but I'll get used to living in Dumaguete and get adjusted.
