The white trucks that are being mentioned are Racal's, built out of country and quite cheap. Their storage depot is just 2km's north of Amlan on thee right hand side.

 

My neighbour paid P430k for a Racal twincab light truck, and so far he's very pleased with it.

 

Decide what specs you want from a pickup, 2 or 4 wheel drive, 2.5 0r 3.0 litres and get written quotes from each supplier. Then go to Cebu and buy it there, as vehicles on sale here tend to be more expensive than Cebu, using your written quotes as leverage. If you pay cash you can even get it cheaper, as you will not have to pay for the chattel mortgage paperwork, this is when you buy through a bank loan. Also, many manufacturers do promos, where they will give extras at no cost. When a new model comes out they will sell off the older models at discount. Do your homework before buying.
