    FLASH REPORT | Dead body of a foreign national found at the foot of Mt. Talinis in Sitio Manipis, Valencia, Negros Oriental. The dead body is believed to be that of Wolfgang Frenzen Detlef , 70 , a German national, residing in Brgy. Apolong, Valencia. We was last seen on September 8 after he informed his friends that he is going to Mt. Talinis.

    Possibly some sad news, a string of posts on the Valencia Emergency Rescue Unit's Facebook page alludes to a suicide note left behind by the missing man.

    But the person who supplied that info (gf or ex?) said on her own FB page that he may have been found safe in Bais. Let's hope so!

    He was usually alone yes. And why wouldnt the locals go there? Ive seen plenty up there,there are no issues as far as i know.
