Foreigner on 650 ninja VS dog

    I ran over a monkey once on the way down the hill from Cubi Point with my 1200 Harley what seems like a lifetime ago. I don't remember feeling a bump with the back tire, but it was a really small monkey.

    A puppy once ran in between my front and rear tyre on my 1450 Harley up in the mountains above Canlaon. Later when we stopped I asked the guy behind me if I got it. His reply; "Doubt it survived. It will for sure not use it's rear legs again". I felt no bump either.

    Gabrielle, I have no recollection of the accident. If I was to hazard a guess : maybe high sided , because the impact area was my right shoulder and right side of my bonce ,sans helmet.
    I spent a week in ICU with the neurosurgeon ready to " go in " lol.
    If the bike was traveling at speed it would have been damaged beyond repair .
