The Central Visayas are in second place with HIV-infected blood donations
Cebu - The Central Visayas behind the National Capital Region (NCR) in Luzon, ranked second by the HIV ( Human Immunodeficiency . infected virus) blood donation The Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) Doctor Dino Caing says in the Region 7 were tested positive of 162 by the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) in Muntinlupa City tested blood donations for HIV. The records of the RITM show that by 2014, there is a dramatic increase from 2000 of HIV positive blood donations tested. In 2000, 6.29 percent of tested blood donations HIV were infected in 2014 had risen to 37.4 percent. Caing recommends the public to donate blood, because they are investigated by free HIV.
