    Is it worthwhile to get free upgrade to 8.1? Bing photo of the day froze the same pic but still changes on the desktop. Trying to repair advises upgrade to 8.1 To do or not to do?

    There were some problems with Windows 8. I upgraded from 8 to 8.1 when I first got my computer. There is very little difference on the front end but it seemed to have crashed less on 8.1. The upgrade didn't take much work if I recall.

    Laptop automatically upgraded to 8.1. Learned some changes and added bing desktop for the great global photos.
