I just heard the news Today that Fritz {German} passed away. I saw Him on several occasions in the Market when I was there last Month. A couple of times He had His Pit Bull with Him on a leash. This is very sad news. Maybe Someone has more information as to what happened.... May He rest in Peace..

    RIP Fritz

Not trying to speculate how Fritz passed away (and may god rest his soul)....

    A word of caution....

For those that are living or simply visiting Philippines, try not to pissed the locals off, be respectful...especially to your wife and or GF. Everyone's aware that it's waaaaaaaaaaaay easy to get away with murder here.

    Yes

RIGHT ON! Dave, Would you like to barrow Mrs. Spike and Mr. Bite? Both if which have turned out to be excellent guard dogs. They are both doing well and Spike is sporting a big, thick red collar. I just love the way she smiles it scares the sh*t out of every one that dose not know her. Most strangers will not come near the gate when they are greeted by Spike and backed up by Bite. Some will not come in unless we chain them both up.

No problem if you don't like my comment, but read it again carefully---first thing I said is that I wasn't speculating on Fritz's passing....why are you getting all worked up? If you honestly think it's the same here as everywhere else ( esp compared to your home country) you are already in more trouble than you know.

Maybe a more appropriate comment would be

"For those that are living or simply visiting Philippines, don't forget you still need to take care of yourself. Find a good GP (General Practitioner) and get checkups so you are not broadsided by an illness as emergency medical care is lacking."

Being 45ish myself (will be 46 next month), something like this reminds me of my own mortality. I think it is time for me to find a good doctor here and get a health screen.

May you rest in peace Fritz.
