Hello fellows, ever seen one of those cheap and dodgy fittings feeding gas to the cooker from a gas bottle? Rubber pipes that crack after a while, gas valve getting loose....you know what I mean
As I would like to replace mine with one from the UK while I still can, but I've forgotten to take note of size of pipe and gas valve, can anyone in the PI help me out with the details needed?
    Many thanks to all!!
    Ciao

If you mean the blue Gasul tanks, UJ ?
I just took off the rubber from my spare tank.
I had many times cracks in these black rubber "sealings".
    Guess what ?
This one had ALSO cracks. Last month I had to exchange the rubber being completely damages and cracked of another tank.
You can't check the rubbers of a new tank at the shop, since they are covered with a plastic 'security' cap.

    Outer diameter: 16.00 mm
    Inner diameter: 10.07 mm
    Heigth: 7.02 mm

I guess some tolerances are allowed.

Bring me also some good onces

You're a star, Jellyfish, yes, that one!
Ok, I'll go later to a DIY store and see if I can find a replacement.
    You got one too mate.
    Thanks.

Pictures/ Tecnical details of LPG cylinders

Hello folks, having no experience in the subject, I assumed all gas cylinders were the same. How wrong I was!!
Different pressure valves, regulator, size of hose and nozzle, LPG, Butane gas or other....
Can anyone post the technical details and some pictures of the Gasul (Petron) cylinder which is normally used at home to feed the domestic gas cooker and all its fittings? Is it LPG as I assumed, which regulator does it need, diameter of the hose and valves etc....etc...
Sorry Jellyfish, your info was good but it appears I need more technical details:rolleyes:
    Thanks to all !!
