Robbery was definitely not the motive in the shooting of the German National and the Italian real estate gentleman in Dauin.

The local police should up their game. There had been a lot of crimes that remain unsolved. We need quick action from authorities to stop these horrible crimes happening in this community.

I see the main difference is in the reporting. Foreigners thirst for more information, they are use to receiving information overload. Reporters and journalists abound in their country and are not afraid to actively go out their way to seek information from family, witnesses or police to fill their columns.

To add, treat them with respect, don't talk load to them, praise them when they do well.
When I had my business in Aust I employed a fair few of them, male tradesman. It's what first brought me to the Philippines about 15 or so years ago. As an employer you soon learn fast what makes them productive and happy. Best thing I ever did in my business and eventually they introduced me to my now wife.-

Quite stereotyping and stating something which may be FAR from the truth. I keep my mouth closed unless I know something and think it should be shared and think others may want to hear it.-

You're right. I used to think that these cases were never resolved. I was wrong and have adjusted my opinion on the topic. Also, just because the police and courts didn't find the murderer doesn't mean that justice wasn't carried out by and for the families. You can find plenty of things I have said in my 10k+ posts here that I no longer agree with. But I guess "you got me".

Again, 2 months is generally not enough time to conduct an investigation, make arrests and complete a court case. It doesn't happen that fast in the West and it certainly isn't going to happen in the Philippines that fast. Your expectations for the timeframe of justice being served is a bit ridiculous.
Also, careful with those negative ratings. They are not there as a disagree option. I will remove your ability to use them if you continue to abuse the feature. I suggest you Google the words abhorrent and trolling and find out what those words actually mean.
And it is understandable, given the criminal defamation laws in the Philippines, that they wouldn't speculate too much on crimes. When you can be thrown in prison for 2 years it is better to only stick with the facts.
I have buried nothing.
False accusations + improper use of post ratings. Goodbye, for awhile.-
