Coco Grove Brach Resort is a very nice place, standard room 42oo peso, take a look online at their homepage

Totally agree with Liverpool fan Coco Grove (see https://www.cocogrovebeachresort.com ) is worth the extra cost. The breakfast is fantastic, the views, the staff and the amenities are worth the extra you will pay elsewhere. One of the restaurants there is rated the best on the island and the place is perfect for a quality getaway.

By the way sometimes you can get it cheaper through Booking.com but they only release a small number of rooms through the booking web sites so this will be hit or miss.

The Danish lagoon Luxury Beach Resort, you can check them out on Facebook, nice rooms. Siquijor together with Sugar Beach in Sipalay is my favorite destination for a getaway, both places I feel like time stand still, peaceful and beautiful nature and possible to stay directly on the beach

I love Siquijor, would go there whenever I am in Dumaguete, which is about three times a year, but the queuing up for hours to purchase ferry tickets from ferry companies who don't allow passengers purchasing tickets in advance, have stopped us visiting for a few years now. What a waste!

    C to the rescue!

I’m not going to get into comparisons between resorts, but I do think the San Juan area of Siquijor is getting a little like Boracay. It’s basically 5 miles of beach front on the windward side of the island dotted with tourist traps. All very nice, all very foreigner friendly, and all suited to different budgets.

There is another side to Siquijor - the lee that faces Negros and Cebu. Basically take a left instead of turning right as you emerge from the port area. A few clicks on is the Japanese owned Villa Marmarine. Outside Larena by 7 or clicks Kalachuchi - isolated, though very comfortable resorts. And in between there are a few other budget options...no shame here, just before Larena Flora’s dive resort (he’s a relly) but constantly rated in Tripadvisor as excellent. Other worthy mentions, kiwi Dive, Candoki Dive, the newly opened Aquamare....

Have a wander through some booking sites, drop us a PM and if I know it I’ll comment.

And no, I don’t want to get into resorts. It’s a mugs game: I want people catering to my whims, not me catering to theirs in my dotage.

    cheers,

    C

Last time we were there we used the Salamangka Beach and Dive Resort, it was excellent but not sure of the prices now as this was around 5 years ago.

Coral Cave is also a place you can look for. Their non airco rooms are still good and friendly priced. The restaurant is pretty good. The only disadvantage, when low tide it will be muddy and lots of urchins, so bring your bathing shoes. There's a swimming pool if you don't like to go into the sea.

We stayed at Diamonds de Siquijor (a small quiet resort) in Siquijor town and had a nice stay with very good dishes.
Kalachuchi is the other resort I would like to recommend.
