The Dauin, Baslay Mountain Brew Cooperative is currently not selling beans. As DavyL200 said, they are waiting for the next harvest. I have been there two weeks ago and enjoyed a cup of Robusta.
My entire agricultural experience for my 67 years was mowing the front lawn as a teenager at our suburban home. Now I have (25 year lease on) some incredible land here in Valencia and slowly discovering what is already growing there (in addition to the dozens of coconut and banana trees). I have one coffee plant of good size and, evidently, old enough that it is bearing fruit. Now, how to process it into liquid in my morning mug?
The US National Coffee Association knows what to do: http://www.ncausa.org/about-coffee/10-steps-from-seed-to-cup Now I expect to be invited to your 3-day-coffee-fiesta up there in Valencia after you followed these simple steps
"Simple" is a matter of perspective, I guess. If I ever get what is now on the tree to a bean ready to grind and brew, you will be welcome to taste the first cup! Based on observation of you, I may or may not taste the second! And thank you so much for the link!
