⌛ Greetings, and a couple of questions!

Greetings to everyone, nice to meet you all. I am loking at Dumaguete/Bais as a place to retire in the next couple of months. I have no family with me, I will be alone
I have been trying to find out the rental costs of an apartment/house/condo in this place, can someone give me a general idea please?
I will be visiting the end of April just for a weeks vacation, what is a good, reasonably priced place to stay, preferably in Bais?
How safe is the area?

The price range can be pretty wide depending on what you are looking for.

Decent furnished studio / one bedroom apartments are around 10,000. Unfurnished can be found for around 6,000. Houses are all over the place. I'm in a two bedroom unfurnished house for 6,000 and of course you can find similar for more or less. That's Dumaguete, not sure about Bais.
