Dumaguete City has always been a friendly place for me ever since i have been travelling from dipolog city to iloilo city. i have to make a trip from dumaguete to bacolod by bus, and i always stay overnight in dumaguete so that i can take an aircon bus early morning which is not always available on a regular schedule.

The last time i took the bus, was September 2010, and it is always a sacrifice to be taking an economy bus from bacolod city to dumaguete since there is no available air con bus ( i usually take the first trip from iloilo city by fast craft at 6:15am hoping i could catch up the morning aircon trip, but the trip from iloilo to bacolod would take more than an hour including a taxi ride from the pier to the terminal). If i decide to take an aircon bus scheduled at 12 noon, i could not catch up the 5PM trip from dumaguete to dipolog via shuttle ferry. That would leave me to stay overnight in dumaguete.

When would the ceres bus liner provide more aircon buses for the dumaguete bacolod route and vice versa?

Likewise, if there is an available aircon bus from dumaguete to bacolod at 9AM, it could have saved me from paying a hotel room, since the shuttle ferry from dipolog to dumaguete arrives at 8AM. i could not also take the aircon bus at 12 noon because i would arrive at 6pm in bacolod, and there would be no available fast craft for iloilo. in effect, i have to stay overnight in bacolod... but then again, i would rather stay overnight in Dumaguete City because i feel safer in your city compared to bacolod. I hope your city will continue to provide safety to us travelers.

However, it would have been much better if there would be more aircon trips for the dumaguete bacolod route and vice versa.

Thank you so much for this forum, at last I am given the chance to express my travelling needs, in a way making the Philippine islands closer to each other. I hope through this, the management of the ceres liner can do something better for the riding public clients.
