    Greetiings!

My wife and I are considering Dumaguete as one of the possible locations to retire. My wife is originally from Cebu, has dual US and Philippine citizenship and we have been married 28 almost 29 years.

Last year we spent almost 7 months traveling in the RP. I was participating in a Marine Biology Program and really enjoyed my time there. My wife spent most of her time in Cebu with family but did travel to Dumagette, Siquijor, Romblon Romblon, Bohol, Manila and Baguio with me.

I have a keen interest in SCUBA Diving and am an Active PADI Master Instructor. I am semi Retired but would like to stay busy either leading tours, teaching SCUBA or doing UW Photography.

I am very interested in learning more about quality of life, affordability and potential pitfalls of moving to Dumaguete.

I will soon be 51 and my wife is 52.

We are heading back to the RP mid May for 3 months at which time we will finalize our decision concerning which location to settle down in...

I hope to meet some of you in the EXPAT community while we are visiting..

    Cheers,
    Roger
