    This is always been a complaint about any of the previous restobars in this location. I don't see it as a problem really. Traffic is just a background noise to me anymore. I live 400+ meters from the valencia-Dumaguete road and can still hear the grumbling exhausts of worn out scooters. Learn to ignore it.

    My friend had the schnitzel with the brown sauce today and said it was terrific. I had the takeout lasagna tonight and really enjoyed it.
    Note: .I am not German and play no favourites, simply enjoy the few times I can afford to go out for a meal.

    I have been eating there a lot as well. The schnitzel (mine was with white sauce) is excellent.

    Hi Fritz,

    couldn't agree more.
    It was a fantastic night and I feel privileged to listen to a few highly skilled musicians. The bass player, Jimmi Johnson, and the man at the Saxophone, Conrado, gave an outstanding performance to the audience. It was really nice. "I am the man" was very well played, among others.

    Listening to the music, having excellent food and drinks, great company....... It's more fun in the Philippines.

    For sure I will be back next Saturday. Can't wait to witness great session again.

    Anyway what you are for in GRUMPY's - Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, you can be shure to get a very high quality meal, with the freshest and best Ingredients you can get here in Dumaguete!
    And beside that, the Host (Ralf) and his staff will do everything that you feel well - whatever need you more having a nice, spoiled, day or evening?

    in terms food quality, quantity, and overall value i don;t think anyone in teh area beats grumpy's right now.

    I had an American breakfast there yesterday in Grumpys, it was okay Coffee was weak and only warm.
