A traffic accident reported as having caused the death of a driver could have staged on record as is, if not for the voluntary surrender of a security guard, who confessed that he was one of those who robbed and killed the victim with the use of a water pipe. Reyderick Pagasian Suasin, 28, of Talay, Dumaguete City, voluntarily confessed to Hamilton Dizon of the 719 security agency, that Fernando Joy Enopia, who was their chief officer, was not killed in a traffic accident. Dizon brought Suasin to the police station, where he executed an extrajudicial confession, Monday assisted by counsel Conrado Concepcion. Supt. James Goforth, Dumaguete police chief, said the vehicular accident was reported March 11, 2015, in Barangay Batinguel and the doctor’s findings stated it was caused by head injuries.
