    Can anyone recommend a good place to buy a guitar? This is not for my information but for a friend who just moved to Dumaguete...

    Try the capital of guitar nation in the Philippines ,Mactan Island Cebu. It's the best place for guitar this country can offer. All the guitar stores located specifically at Abuno, Lapu-Lapu City. Mactan Island Cebu, a few minutes drive from the Mactan Cebu International Airport.

    Newbie is correct, I just bought a real nice guitar Acustic/electric at a factory in Lapu Lapu. including wires,pick and soft case P6,500, For a beginner I know of a basic one just offered to me for P800.

    Thanks, guys - I went to JVS yesterday with my friends, and she found a great guitar for a very good price. She is thrilled!!
