I saw a funny sight driving to Bacong in the dark tonight, maybe you have seen it. A motorcycle was coming toward me on the hiway and as usual no head light. However, this dude had some kind of a hat on with a light on top of it, cracked me up.

Next it will be a sign that says "waiting for headlight" over the headlight, much like the "waiting for registration" where the license plate is supposed to go. :D

I have one of those, it is great. It is a plain baseball type cap, mine is camo, with 3 LED bulbs in the bill. Press the button and one comes on, second press, two come on, third press, all three come on, then fourth turns off. I actually bought some for gifts.

A LED rechargeable Digital headlight with 7 LED is for sale in UNITOP for 125 pesos.
Everyone should have it in the house, brownouts, small jobs in dark places and still able to use your 2 hands and of cause in case the headlight of your bike goes down, this is better than nothing.

PatO - give the guy a little credit. At least he had "something" as opposed to the "nothings" that a lot of drivers have.
And on the same topic, I don't know what made me start noticing, but some Jeepneys don't have rear lights. I don't mean lights that are not working. I mean there are no lights installed. Just a blank panel where the lights should be.
Of course we all know that lights after dark here are considered an "option" or an "accessory".
    God, I love this place.........
