I agree totally but the law is another grey area with some wiggle room if you have a good lawyer. The law states the vehicle must be operating/ being driven before it can be arrested by the LTO. or wording to that effect.. Filipino English.

That is a bit confusing, first you say "make sure you have and carry along actual OR..." then you say "I always keep a good color Xerox.." Keeping a Legible Copy on the Bike (or on you) is perfectly adequate. Don't risk losing the Original. I have had no issues at checkpoints showing a copy either.

CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION.
I always keep a good color Xerox and 3 checkpoints had no complain.
